Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer
William Goebel serves as Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer of FS KKR Capital Corp. and as Chief Financial Officer of certain other FS Investments’ funds. He has over 20 years of accounting and auditing experience with areas of focus in SEC reporting, fair valuation and new fund offerings.
Prior to joining FS Investments, Mr. Goebel was an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP where he oversaw audits of RICs, private investment partnerships, investment advisors and broker-dealers. He began his career as an auditor at Tait, Weller and Baker.
Mr. Goebel serves on the Board and is the Treasurer of Philadelphia Reads, where he also participates as a mentor. He received his BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a CFA charterholder and a CPA.
